Tyre Repairs
Plenty of punctures — a nail or screw through the tread, a small clean puncture within the repairable zone — can be fixed properly rather than replaced. We assess the tyre against the legal and safety criteria for repair, and only recommend a repair when it's genuinely appropriate; if it isn't, we'll say so and price a replacement instead.

Tyre Fitting & Wheel Balancing
Whether you've bought tyres from us or supplied your own, our Red Barn Drive workshop handles the fitting itself — mounting, computerised wheel balancing to remove vibration at speed, a new valve, and a pressure check against the manufacturer's specification before the car leaves.

What to expect from a mobile visit or a workshop booking with Wye Valley Tyres.
Do you carry tyres on the van, or do you need to order them in first?
Our mobile fitters carry a wide range of common tyre sizes, so most emergency and routine call-outs are completed in a single visit. For an unusual size or a specific premium brand we may need to order the tyre in and arrange a second visit once it arrives — we'll tell you upfront if that applies to your vehicle.
Do you balance the wheel every time you fit a tyre?
Yes, every tyre we fit — whether at the workshop or on a mobile visit — is computer balanced, fitted with a new valve and checked against the correct pressure before we finish the job.
Will you tell me if my tyre can't be repaired?
Yes. We inspect every puncture properly before recommending a repair, and if the damage is outside the legal repair area, too close to the sidewall, or the tyre has other damage, we'll explain why and price a replacement rather than repair it anyway.
Can I supply my own tyres for you to fit?
Yes, we fit customer-supplied tyres at the workshop, including balancing, valve replacement and a pressure check as standard.
